How to enable Pre-Order Tracking (WISMO) for Shopify Store Customers with Macha AI


Lots of Shopify stores offer pre-orders to their customers. These pre-orders generally take longer to get fulfilled and shipped due to various reasons like – orders need to first be placed with manufacturer, inventory quantity is not in stock or a shipment is awaited from the supplier.

Customers usually who place these pre-orders usually get very anxious and start following up on the status of their order. This usually results in a support ticket. To solve this type of WISMO (where is my order) ticket, Macha AI reads the order data on Shopify and identifies the status of each product. If an order is pre-order, it informs the customer that this item is on pre-order and also gives them a general timeline around how long it will take. Just informing customers about the status of their pre-order helps the whole situation and prevents the creation of unnecessary tickets.
